All’IFA (Internationale Funkausstellung) 2009 di Berlino sono stati presentati i primi smartphone che fanno girare il sistema operativo Windows Mobile 6.5, appena rilasciato dalla casa di Redmond: stiamo parlando del Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, dell’HTC Touch2 e dell’LG GM750.

Il Sony X2 propone tastiera QWERTY a scorrimento, un display touchscreen da 3,2 pollici con risoluzione di 480 x 800 pixel, una fotocamera da 8,1 megapixel, il supporto alle tecnologie Wi-Fi, Bluetooth e UMTS/HSPA e l’uscita TV ma la caratteristica principale è un’altra.

E’ Slideview la novità nell’X2, una tecnologia che permette di accedere in modo veloce alle funzioni telefoniche, alla rubrica, ai messaggi e ai contenuti multimediali. E’ presente anche Microsoft Office Mobile e si può utilizzare Xperia Services, che permette di sfruttare al meglio le tecnologie del telefono.

Il nuovo HTC Touch 2 invece ha dalla sua un display touchscreen da 2,8 pollici, processore Qualcomm MSM7225 a 528 MHz, 512 MB di ROM e 256 MB di RAM, fotocamera da 3,2 MP, Bluetooth 2.1 e lo slot per microSD e grazie all’interfaccia di HTC si accede rapidamente a My Phone e al Windows Marketplace for Mobile.

Il nuovo LG invece propone schermo touchscreen da 3 pollici, interfaccia S-Class di LG per un utilizzo fluido dello smartphone, fotocamera da 5 MP, connettività HSDPA, Wi-Fi e Bluetooth.
