HP Palm Pre 2 con WebOS 2.0

HP vuole puntare molto forte sul nuovo Palm Pre 2, tanto che integrerà il nuovissimo sistema operativo WebOS 2.0.

L’HP Palm Pre fu accolto dalla critica in maniera entusiasta al tempo, anche se la risposta del pubblico non fu eccezionale.

Il primo Palm Pre aveva caratteristiche di tutto rispetto se paragonato agli altri smartphone touchscreen usciti nello stesso periodo.

Il maggiore neo del primo Palm Pre era la mancanza della connessione GSM, quella utilizzata in Europa, ecco perchè da noi non si è praticamente visto. HP adesso però vuole puntare molto forte sul nuovo Palm Pre 2, tanto che integrerà il nuovissimo sistema operativo WebOS 2.0.

WebOS 2.0 è la naturale evoluzione di WebOS 1.x, con la maggiore novità che è rappresentata dal multitasking, reso più facile da usare grazie alla nuova organizzazione chiamata stacks, che riunisce le applicazione aperte in un modo molto intelligente.

Il browser sarà basato su WebKit, integrerà anche Adobe Flash 10.1. E’ garantita anche l’integrazione a Facebook grazie all’applicazione apposita.

Il nuovo HP Palm Pre 2 monterà un display touchscreen capacitivo HVGA con risoluzione di 320 x 480 pixel e dimensioni di 3,1 pollici. Il processore è un Qualcomm Snapdragon con frequenza di 1 GhZ, la RAM è di 512 MB, lo spazio interno è di 16 GB mentre la fotocamera è a 5 megapixel.

Ora è presente la connessione HSDPA, oltre a Wi-Fi G e Bluetooth 2.1. Sono presenti anche sensori ambientali, un accelerometro ed il GPS.
